High Performance Rudder for Sea Skimmer

Product Description

Just like item 8024 (high performance rudder for Super Snark and Sunflower), except we add an eyebolt halfway up the tiller for the sheet line to go through. This allows the typical rigging of a Sea Skimmer, but it does limit the adjustment range for tiller length to 18 inches, which is probably all you need or want anyway. Of course, the eyebolt could be removed. The "gudgeon" is the piece attached to the boat that the rudder mates up with and is secured to by the rudder pin.   Older boats may have a metal gudgeon.   This rudder and all other rudders sold today will not mate up with the old metal gudgeon.  You must replace a metal gudgeon with the current black plastic gudgeon.
