Nice 24" shaft trolling motor, perfect for kayaks and small dinghies. Compare to most trolling motors which are 30" or 36" shaft, leaving you the choice of putting the prop deeper than it needs to be or having the handle inconveniently high. And this motor is approved for salt water use. The price is for 36-lb thrust version. There is also a more powerful 55-lb thrust model that will help if you are fighting a strong wind or carrying a heavy load. If you want the 55, just put a note in the order comments and we'll manually charge your card another $70 and send the more powerful motor. Newport Vessells is a good, reliable brand and they back these motors with a 2 year limited warranty. 30-inch shaft (good for canoes and small boats). Five foward speeds and 3 reverse. Battery level indicator. Okay for saltwater or fresh.

You will also need a charger for your battery (not included). Any automotive parts store and many hardware and home centers sell 12V battery chargers.
